Hi, We are thinking of going to Bali in August with our 6 year old daughter. Which are the best resorts/hotels for kids this age? Also are there any good trips to do that are suitable to take kids on?

Hmmm.. Much as I like Sanur, I'm not sure if it is the best choice for kids. I think you would more child friendly beaches elsewhere. Perhaps members have a hotel they could recommend with a kids club?
As for things to do- I think there is a new safari park opened- if it isn't opened now then it must at least be near completion. There is going to be a big water park there.
Also you can go on elephant rides and a visit to the bird park is a must. Must think of some more ideas

Bali Dynasty in Tuban is a great family hotel with lots of children. .. and opposite the Waterbom Park. You might like to check out their website http://www.balidynasty.com/
