Hi
Can anyone confirm what we were told this morning? When asked about taking crutches on board they said there was no problem and we did not have to make any arrangements for taking them on board. Is this correct. I just thought that we would have to give prior notice or something.
Thanks
De
sorry cant say definate about crutches but my wife uses a walking stick no problem with that, also in the past have known of people who were injured out there and presumably with broken leg must habve flown taking crutches on board. at the very least you will be boarded first before all able bodied passengers.
If Balkan themselves have told you this then you should be fine. Check-in will confirm when you get to the aiport.
no need to warn them about crutches but you could put a request in for extra leg room (not exit seats) I did last year when i had crutches
Another thing you can do is if you ask at check in, they will organize for you to get a cart or wheel chair to take you to the gate where your plane will departing from. Usually done by G4S security with no cost to you.
