Travel with Thai Airways from Heathrow Bangkok not a bad out going flight through the night but the planes could have had individual tv screens had to watch the rubbish films that they put on.

Stayed one night at the Amari Watergate Hotel Lovely hotel set in the middle of downtown Bangkok when we arrived it was festival day so we stayed in the hotel bars for the night (safest option i think)

Then travel down to Krabi with Thai and was upgraded to Premium seats.

Arrived in Ao nang mid afternoon was about 35degrees and sunny what a start to the holiday, checked in to a small complex of apartment for a few nights until we found some where with a nice pool. After two night moved to the Krabi Heritage Hotel, what a lovely hotel with nice pool, good size rooms and bed and all for 1500 baht a night with breakfast.

After 5 days in Ao nang took a trip to Phuket for 2 nights with some friends and stayed at the Absolute Sea Pearl Beach Resort this was also a excellent hotel for the price. Went to the Festival show 1st night very good. Next day lazed on the beach and had a go on the jet ski not had so much fun. Second night visted Patong Road area to see the lady boys this was a eye opener.

Returned to Ao nang and checked back into the Heritage Hotel again, next day went on a boat trip to Hong island for few hours this was good and the scenary was amazing and had fish feeding out of your hand in the sea.

After a couple of days relazing in Ao nang returned to Bangkok for our last night and visited to khaosan road area this place was like oxford street one week before xmas but still a great laugh with loads of great bars if you know what i mean.

Then fly home next day which was the longest horrible flight every now cant wait to go back and have already booked up for end August for a trip to see some friends we meet out there. Plus also thinking of booking for new year.
