Thinking of booking to go to Thailand next year, but really can only go for 8 or 9 nights maximum. Would probably do 2/3 nights in Bangkok, depending on when our flight from the UK got in. Does anyone know if flights from the UK arrive early in the day or late at night? Then I would like to go to either Phuket or Krabbi for the remainder of our stay. Can anyone tell me which would be easiest(or shortest time travelling)? I don't know if it would be easier to fly down to London then on to Bangkok (we are from Scotland)or fly from Glasgow via Dubai with Emirates. How long is the flight from Dubai to Bangkok? Sorry for all these questions!! We were thinking about going at the beginning of April. What is the weather likely to be like then? I would hope to go when the rainfall is minimal. Not sure which hotel to choose in Bangkok, but would need to be quite central if we are only going to be there for a couple of days and in Phuket we were thinking of the Banyan Tree. I like the look of Rayavadee in Krabbi. Anyone tell me about these hotels. thanks in advance. Any tips/info would be great. Cheers.
