Hi
my parents are getting married in Barbados beginning of November this year! Bit shocking but still!! I have been before but when I was younger. Me & my partner are looking for somewhere to stay in St Lawrence Gap or a place nearby to the gap. Would prefer all inclusive but SC wouldnt be too much of a bother. I've been looking all day and everything seems to be so expensive! Is it generally expensive at that time of year & place?
Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay for us please?
Thanks for any help
Hi Danielle, stayed at Southern Palms on St Lawrence Gap, I,m not sure how it rates pricewise but it is self catering and we had a lovely holiday, rooms were fine and the place itself is very undemanding, right on the beach. There are loads of places to eat fairly reasonably but you must bear in mind Barbados is not a cheap island. I have just returned from Antigua and walking round a supermarket the prices are no different from home and in quite a few fairly basic items items even more expensive. I don't know how local people survive. The only cheaper time to go is in the first two weeks of December but that's not much help for you.
Beginning of November should be the low season and should be one of the cheapest time of the year to go to Barbados.
Mark
Thanks for your help. I've looked at Southern palms and seems the best as it is right on the beach but it is very expensive!
