Hi, i know Barbie very well - i used to be the rep there years ago (too many!) and it's not a name you forget! They didn't have a/c when i was there but alot of places have added this over the last couple of years years.
They're well run and the owners are lovely, really friendly and can't do enough for you. In a nice quiet spot, when you first arrive it looks like you're in the middle of nowhere but it's a very short walk to the centre of Trianda. Regular buses from the main road into Rhodes Town and a taxi rank just the other side of the traffic lights so a great spot for getting out and about. Don't miss Filerimos just inland of Trianda (you'll need a taxi up unless you're a very strong/brave walker), breathtaking views of the coastline and across to Turkey on a clear day.
