Usually fly into Barcelona and get the train along the coast and stay in one of the beach resorts. I have just been told that the train service between the airport and barcelona sants is having work done to upgrade the track etc. A bus service is running instead and this work is due to take two years. The bus gets so full with people with cases etc that it is a bit of a struggle to say the least.
Has anybody else heared this and is the train not running through the summer also?
