It's a couple of years since we were there, and not football fans! However, hubby loves the grand prix and was having a minor sulk that there didn't seem to be anywhere to watch it, when we came upon a bar in the square opposite the railway station that had a big tv and the race was on! Now, they may not show uk football matches, but it's a possibility. If you stand with your back to the station, the bar was in the square on the right hand side. I'm sure others will have more specific suggestions.

Try Chaplin's pub (Irish) which always shows footie. Nice and central - not far from the Hotel Ascot.

There is also a local Italian bar just a bit further along with an out door area and a big screen where we saw some of the Euro games a few weeks back.

Hi Folks, Thanks so much that's a great help, I will check them all out on the saturday morning. I'm sure the Irish pub will be a good bet! Roll on August 29th can't wait.
