just returned from bayside very quiet resort only two tevernas open as it was end of may weather great
hotel bit dated ,food ok but not much choice few guests moaning, not a livley place as hotels around are all inclusive
pool area ok as were the rooms ,beach shingle and large pebbles so not good for kids , right on flight path to airport and a lot of early morning flights and late night flights so a lot of noise felt like we had the pilot in our room a few times
we only booked this as a cheap deal if we had paid a lot for it we would have chosen elsewhere
think car hire is a must to get about a bit , as for pictures on web sites of the beach [which was why we booked this holiday ]
are a bit misleading

I can't speak for the hotel but you really will be ideally placed to get around the island. There are quite a few car hire places nearby as well as the bus stop, and the taxis's are cheap. If the hotel really is not up to much just use it as a base. Rhodes itself will not disappoint so don't worry.
