BBC Doctor Who????

Well, as my fellow forumites in the Costa Blanca forum will know, my son and I are Doctor Who fanatics.

Yet again, our holiday falls during the run of series 4. Can anyone tell me if they remember any bars showing it last year in Protaras, near to the Rising Star hotel, so maybe they will be showing it again this year and we won't miss out.

Failing that, we may have to hog a computer for and hour and visit bbciplayer. How much would i have to actually put in the computer for an hour.

Keeping my fingers crossed for replies.

I can't comment whether any bars will be showing it, but iplayer only works in the UK, it does it by checking your IP address.

If you do manage to find somewhere that is offering Dr Who, but it looks a bit poky on the outside, don't worry. Outward appearances can be deceptive. :lol:

I found out about BBCiplayer only working in UK last week when I tried to watch Torchwood. I was gutted.

try live UK TV website for about 33e a month you can get 18 uk channels streamed to your computer. May not help if your visiting but alot of bar owners may well like to know.

Plenty but he doesn't like to miss an episode. We've usually managed it other years but it's our first time to Cyprus (it's usually spain we go).
I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

The simple answer would be to set the DVD to record it while you are away!!

Well the first episode is on tonight, so if anyone just happens to be out and about in Protaras and notices any bars showing Doctor Who, could you report back please.
