Garry,

We certainly are re-booking, had such a wonderful time.

Hotel supply towels in the usual way. They give you towel cards depending how many staying in your room/apartment.

Please feel free to ask whatever. I'll do my best to answer. No problem

We are going for the first time in 19 days. What is the transport down to the beaches like, is a a mad free for all and is it regular throughout the day? Also is the food nice, we are just normal eaters, not particularly fussy but won't eat rubbish. What sort of choices do they give? Sorry so many questions but i'm really excited!!!!!

Heather2,

Don't worry about the transport to the beaches, they have a timetable from about 10:00 am - if you don't get on the one you intended, they will organise another, don't worry. You have a choice either to Kiroseiz (which is brilliant if you are snorkling/diving - things like restaurant/showers/toilets are a little walk - unlike Sandy Beach) - still all inclusive (take your towel cards also), food and drink just like the hotel - that is where they have the bungalows (but personally I would rather stay at the hotel). Then they have the "Sandy Beach", great for walking straight into the sea, "sandy" as it says, and basically everything in "one" place (as in toilets, restaurant, bar, showers)

Back to the Hotel - As for food, there is something for everyone - adults and kids alike, if you can't find what you like - you are in the wrong hotel. There is a huge choice, breakfast, lunch and dinner - soup, salads, gorgeous (warm) bread rolls, meat dishes, fish, pasta, vegetables (chips), etc etc and the desserts are to die for - if anyone writes and say otherwise I beg to differ. There is something for everyone and every nation. There is a "Cooking Station" which is open for breakfast "omelettes/fried eggs/srambled" whatever you like; lunch (pasta etc) and Dinner. Really first class.

Any more questions PLEASE ask. Would love to help

Thanks for your reply. It sounds great, I can't wait now. We were a bit apprehensive as Caledonia Park in Tenerife is one of our favourite hotels, we have had xmas there and its been great. Yet the write ups for there are rubbish. But its so nice to have decent replies from like minded people. Did you do any trips? Money is a bit tighter for us than we thought it would be, same old story!!! I would really like to do the Sunset Cruise and also did you have a meal in Chez Pascal or go into Sharm or Naama Bay?

Heather2,

We did the Sunset Cruise with the Hotel, it was brilliant, lovely few hours out (leaving around 4:00 pm), stop off for a swim/snorkel at a lovely area with lots of fish to see, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks with local dancing on the deck if you want to join in too. One of the animation team will be there joining you and probably a waiter from the hotel - there are many boats going out and on the one we had, it seemed everyone from our hotel was on it. Very good fun and a lovely experience. We did the Bedioun nght the year before so we never did it this time, but people at the hotel said it was a great night (food and drink included also). Prices are very reasonable too, worth booking through the hotel - don't worry the PR man will find the new arrivals and talk to you - he is lovely though. We did the Quad bikes but our friend went outside the hotel to book that costing £15 per person, great few hours (there was only 4 of us with a guide, you are not allowed to go off on your own mind you but what a great time).

The Chez Pascal is supposed to be very good (you can eat there between 12:00 and 4:30 (lunch) which is included in your all-inclusive, so no money to pay) but in the evening you have to pay just for food mind (good steaks, lobster and a good selection of fish which you don't get in the usual restaurant) your drinks are included in your all inclusive again so no money for drinks, just the food you eat there in the evening.

We did go to Naama Bay in the evening, and the hotel put on a return bus for you if you wish to use it, taxis are very cheap anyway (give a price beforehand, about £3). We never ate in Naama but everyone keeps going on about Hard Rock Cafe, so worth a try. There are many places to eat and drink, I was rather surprised at how busy this place was. Loads of shops too, but I can't barter to save my life, so good luck.

I am so jealous, wish we were there now. At the pool bar make sure you look for Osamar, he is a lovely young man, and he is due to get married soon, he was counting down the days.

I am sooo excited now, keep checking the weather channel, why I don't know its now going to be cold!!!!! I'm not bad at bartering, i got a bit obsessive about it in Turkey a few years back and everyone in my family had half a dozen fake Ben Shermans each.

Hi Garryb
If you PM me I will give you lots of tip it is nearly our second home.

The trips to the pyramids are a long day you can either go by coach over night a plane early morning start and late finish.

As to snorkeling there are lots of trips to do.
