Beer Brands in Dominican Republic

Off to the Bahia Principe, San Juan in 5 weeks and just wondered if anyone knew what brand of beer(s) I can expect in the all inclusive package.

Had a trawl of the internet and found that El Presidente and Presidente are classed as 'local' beers - also read that Brahma is brewed on the island too, although I believe that this is a Brazilian brand.

It's just so I can get my taste buds in training!!

Going here in three weeks myself and read somewhere that the beer wasnt one of the ones you have mentioned but something beginning with a Q.
Shame because Presidente is a good beer, believe you can get it in resort but have to pay for it.

we got married in the dom rep, the beer on the all inclusive was the el presidente we all liked it, sometimes I just couldnt face anymore rum!

We had our honeymoon in Dom Rep and the beer was El Presidente. Quite strong though - can be lethal when you think you'll have a sneaky drink round the pool while you are sunbathing
