Last week prices for a large beer ranged from 1 to 5 euro - prices on the strip seemed to go up after 10pm but I think maybe there's different prices for peak season? We were really surprised though by the choice and quality of beer and it was always well chilled.

Best person to answer this question would be Algarve Addict he runs his own bar in Albufeira so he would know what the prices are going to be this year.

We were there mid January and there were a couple of places just behind the bullring (next to Dom Pancho Apartments) which had a pint for 1 euro. Can't remember what they were called......one is Brittish, the other is Portuguese, Brittish only has until a certain hour but Portuguese is all day!!!!!!!!! The all day breakfast there is something else at a really cheap price!!!!! Worth a try.

If you go outside the resort you can get beer in cafes for 50 cents a bottle:-)
