I reckon their Hopleaf ales would also stand up well to any of our real ales brewed here in the UK!
went to malta (again) and discovered in the seaview bar new bottled beer made on the island not sure of the exact spelling Chatnu lager its stronger than cisk .
Hehe... Caqnu beer from what I heard is just an experiment by a local businessman (going by the nickname Caqnu) to see whether there's space in the market for a new brand of beer. Allegedly the beer is brewed in Switzerland at very low cost and rebranded.

- you are joking surely !! a Fullers ESB( or 10+ other beers I'm happy to mention) v Hopleaf - sorry, but UK wins hands down... Malta (or more precisely Gozo ) has many things to offer better than the UK, but beer, not a chance - having said that, I've found a supplier of a few Belgian beers in Gozo, so things are looking up
