It is always good to indulge your OH on hols, as I frequently tell my BH, to little avail... have a good hol, you'll not go wrong in Benalmadena.

We've stayed in Torrie 3 years ago and loved it...walked to Benalmadena one day and liked it....vowed to return one day.....really looking forward to it now

Tango.. we stay in Torreblanca now but what we do is take the train down to Torremolinos and walk back, stopping in Bonanza Square in Benalmadena for lunch. Its a four hour walk for us but an hour and a half would do it back to Benal Beach.. and its safe.. promenade all the way... certainly walk up an appetite (and thirst). To get the train, you head uphill from Benal to Arroyo and just for your info, Tivoli World, the cable car and Friday market are to the rear of the station which is a good marker for all three.
