Hi Nicola, while we were in benalmadena last june (Benalmadena palace), we saw quite a number of restaurants with signs in their windows with "Help wanted, apply within", (At the bottom of the hill, which leads down from benalmadena palace - left turn- and there is a number of small restaurants - which were very busy). Sorry I can't help with the apartment/studio prices, but with the six week school hols, looming, I think the rent prices could be quite high. (Unless your are lucky enough to share!).

When I was in Benalmadena last week I saw apartment studios advertised at around 450 euros. I thought that was very good. If you want to work here then you need to be coming over soon to secure a decent job.

Bars pay little but with abit of charm you can get yourself some good tips!!! Everyone likes a happy soul so good luck.

If you go to SUR in English on the internet and look at accom you can find people looking for house mates. If you strike lucky you can get a good place and share costs.

I've Booked my hotel and flight for wednesday(tomorow) and i am just going to look around for accomodation and a job whilst there will there be adverts around or in newspapers for flatshares? any other advice for looking on foot would be nice, cheers everyone for your help
