I am posting this on behalf of a friend
Thinking of doing benidorm at the end of Jan next year.
I've never been there in the winter months before but have been loads of times in the summer.
How cold is it?
What is there to do in the day if you cant sunbathe?
Whats the entertainment like in the cabaret bars eg Morgans,Stardust,Steptoes,Zodiac are all the old favorites there like Tony Scott Danny Dean etc?
Do the tribute bands still perform or does everyone come home to uk
As Xmas and New Year will be over with I'm worried we'll be bored.
Looking forward to your reply if you can help
Luci,Your friend sent me a pm this afternoon, asking those questions, but I have been busy today and would have replied later,so I might as well post in here, instead of a pm.

During the daytime, temps can be high enough to sunbathe, it's cool in the mornings, especially in the shade or if the wind is blowing, but around 11 am, you could be peeling the clothes off and then putting them all back on around 5pm when the sun goes down....you feel it more if the day has been warm and then the sudden drop in temperature.
During the evening, average temps between 5º-8ºc.....the coldest part of the night around 3 am, but it can drop lower or be a few degrees higher..pot luck really and you could have rain.
What is there to do in the day if you cant sunbathe?
Walk, shop, visit other nearby resorts, go on a blanket trip (if you're desperately bored ) sit in a bar and watch the world go by......I'm still thinking on that one.

Pass, I've no idea

pass, no idea, but everything is open.
Sanjiiiiiiiiiii
I have been in benidorm the last few years from the middle to late january and always found plenty of entertainment still going on in the clubs although some nights the clubs are quite empty. As Sanji has already said the weather is pleasant through the day but does go cold at night so it is advisable to take a coat or jacket with you if you go to the clubs at night.
