The only problem with your list is that at the moment whilst it is quiet in Benidorm alot of the acts are only working weekends.I have not spoke to my brother (woody brown) for the last week or so but he was only working Friday and Saturday nights till it gets busier.

bpspmc, we wil be in Beni from 4-11 April, does your brother know if there'll be much on in the bars then. It will be the British School Easter hols.

They are expecting the weekends to be busier with the stag -hen parties which start to go then .At easter it tends to be busy then.

we're coming to Benidorm in late april and I'm looking forward to seeing my own favourite - Tony Scott.
I see he's on at the Stardust.
He used to be on at the Zodiac as well. (my wife saw a vicious rumour on another website, that he got sacked from there for punching an heckler)
I don't know if it's true, but with some of the hecklers, I can't say as I would blame him

anyway, 10.00 is a good time, probably see Gary George as well. I think he's very funny also.

I made a comment about his shirt he was wearing a few weeks back.A brown satin number.He was drinking our beers and taking the p*** out of me,the wife and my 36 year old son who was home after a tour of duty.I said to him(he held the mike to his chest so as the crowd couldnt hear)"I had a shirt like that in the 80s,gave it to a charity shop. Bl***Y hell it is my shirt." He was lost for words for a while.You have to take it if you give it.

I think it's a bit rude to call Chrissie Rock Rick Stevens's monkey. I'm not keen on her myself either but I wouldn't go that far.

My favourite 2 acts in Benidorm are,Rikkie Stevens and his monkey Fred,and Chrissie Rock both on at the bar below the Presidente Hotel,UK bar.Dont sit too close to the front!!! that monkey isnt very nice!!you have been warned.

Dont like Tony Scott either , he had me up , and the usual drinking your drink , me and my mates started winding him up , he wasnt very happy .

Saw Tony Scott last year and thought he was quite funny. Went to see him at Xmas and as we walked in he started to make fun of a guy with one arm who was crossing the floor. Now I like a laugh, but not at the expense of someone's physical impairment. We turned and walked out.

Mike Dennett & Chic are appearing at Jokers and Sinatras, Dame Lucy Bun & Reg have left Benidorm again! I did pass Talk of The Coast last night, but can't recall which comedian is on at the moment! And as I said at the start, Billy Fontayne seems to have retired (again!).

Did they extend the Talk Of The Coast back to a larger venue again Lisa, when i was there in Nov, thats what they were planning. Also is Jonathan James just doing Zodiac now do you know?

Yes Talk of The Coast has been re-extended into all 3 locals! It's a lot bigger now than it was last time!!!

I don't think Jonathan James is at the Zodiac anymore. I know Mike Curtis & Gary George are there. I'll have a look next time I'm passing!
