We were in Benidorm in December 2003. It was lovely. We were even on the beach. So strange to be on a beach in December with the bars behind you playing christmas songs. Hoping to go again this December. The temperature does drop pretty quickly around 3pm. We got caught out by that a couple of times with shorts and t shirts on. Had to run in to a shop and buy a jumper.
For the first 2 years we had glorious weather,t shirts for the day and a carrdigan or jacket at night but Dec 04 wasn`t as nice we needed to be wrapped up most of the time but dry. Take a good mix of clothes and you`ll have a great time.
We`ve never had a problem with the bars there`s loads open.

I keep being told different things.
We always take sterling travellers cheques.
Hi julues ... definitely Sterling TCs. Please check out the sticky topics in this forum about Currency & Exchange, or the following topic in our General Holiday Enquiries forum:
Thanks everyone it'll be sterling ones then.
In general are there are pubs and clubs open for younger people. I've been to Benidorm once before in October and all I seen were small cafes everywhere. Where would I find all the action?
Any help would be appreciated.
Just (literally 5 mins ago) booked to go to Benidorm for a week from 7th December. Does anyone know if there is anyting special taking place in the area at this time???
We were just wondering what the temperature for night and day are in Benidorm in December?? And what clothes would people suggest are sensible for the weather at night??
Thanks in advance.
Emsie
On one occasion we did have drizzle which lasted a morning, but usually it's been sunny but cooling down from about 4p.m. So if you intend going out for the day and not returning until late afternoon/early evening, put a light jacket in your bag.
Stephen.

Any info on New year in Benidorm would be much appreciated.

I was offered the Fiesta park at a good price for Christmas, however after looking at dreadful reviews I have declined.
We have a thread about the Hotel Fiesta Park...including a video.
