Thinking of having a weekend there for hubbys birthday, then having main holiday around September.

We are staying at the Hotel Deloix from 27th Feb, 12 nights. Don't expect too much from the weather at this time of the year but at least the evenings are light. We have in years gone by had exceptionally warm days in early March in Beni. In fact even the evenings were quite warm on that occasion. Nice to hear the crickets too. But we are pessimistic and will take the usual pullovers, etc, with us this time. We were there in April (Easter last year) in fact I flew over alone as my family bagged all the remaining flight seats on their flight. I remember sitting at Manchester airport where the sun was cracking the flags and everybody was expecting the same in Beni. What a disappointment it was. I don't think we had a single day of sunshine the whole of that week. SKY news - shown in the hotel- kept boasting of England's Easter heatwave. We were on the fortieth floor of the Hotel Bali, at least the views were good and the tv programmes weren't too bad. All of us were glad to come home and then the weather that promised so much at Easter for the coming summer turned bandit. Maybe warm Easters are a bad omen for Britains weather, but the summers in Beni are always hot. No matter what their Easter is like.

Anyway only eight weeks today. Looking forward to it.

hi if we decide on benidorm for febuary half term what will the weather be like and can anyone suggest any acommadation with an indoor pool which would be ok for the kids

Hii all you beni lovers! I'm off to Benidorm in February and wondering what to expect with everything! I don't expect suntan weather but what should i expect? Will it be busy and is everythign still open even though its low season? Staying in the plam beach hotel full board and i've found mixed reviews ... anyone able to shed some light? x

I went to benidorm in February and it was rather hot and my mum ended up with sun stroke,, maybi just freak weather. Ive booked up again in feb the 10th so fingers crossed it will be ok weather !

Also just wondering if anyone has been on the Barcelona excursion?? We had a look at it last year but we ended up going to Valencia instead. Does anyone recommend Barcelona??<br />
