Yes, there was another programme. Or series a few years back. I think it was on the BBC around 2003 sometime and it was called, if I recall: 'Escape To The Sun'. I remember it featured 'The Rich Bitch' Cabaret Show bar when it was first opened. And it also followed a gentleman who did, and I believe still does, a Roy 'Chubby' Brown Tribute Act, as well as a few other people. I think the Benidorn Palace owners also featured if my memory serves me correctly. The 'concept' of the series was to show 'Ex pats' who had decided to leave the UK and set up homes and businesses in Benidorm, and it 'starred' several regular 'characters' during the series.

In addition, and whilst not exactley "featuring"* Benidorm, 'Del Boy'& 'Rodney' Trotter also 'went' to Benidorm in an episode of the BBC Comedy Series 'Only Fools and Horses'. The episode had the title 'It Never Rains', which was first broadcast on 25/11/1982.

* Whilst the episode was meant to be set in Benidorm, and the BBC did originally intend to make the episode 'on location' in Benidorm, it was actually filmed in Bournemouth due to budgetry constraints.
