A while ago there was a thread about prices and how folk were not happy with them and I am sure a few members said they were not going again because of the costs and favoured Turkey insted for the better prices.
We visited Benidorm at Christmas and have just been to Turkey for easter. We tried Turkey as we fancied a change and we have just had a fatastic week there and I don`t want to be negative about Turkey but it wasn`t cheaper than Benidorm at all.
We were paying £2.50 for a beer, in Benidorm we could get a pint for a euro.
Short and mixer in Turkey £5, in Benidorm £1.80-£3.50.
Local wine £3 in Turkey, in Benidorrn £1 with a free tapas.
Supermarkets wanted £10 for a bottle of wine in Turkery, in Benidorm from £1 a bottle.
Some meals were cheaper in Turkey, some were a lot more expensive.
So anyone worrying about prices don`t you will be fine. Again this is not a negative response about Turkey as there are lots of fantastic things I can say about it, so please don`t turn this into a thread of Turkey v Benidorm. I just wanted to repot back incase anyone is worrying about how they will afford things.
We are going to Majorca in May and we are well aware that our drinks will cost much more than they did in Benidorm.

You cant get a decent fry up in turkey no pork allowed..I knew that this turkey is cheaper would be a sham, apparently turkey has jumped on the bag wagon and put prices up cos they knew people would be opting to go there in favour off eu countries...me Im sticking with spain..
You can get a decent fry up in Turkey, they import English sauages, and back bacon.
You can get full English breakfast for 3TL and one place does one for £1,the trouble is its too big to manage even for my hubby who can eat for England.
I always went to Benidorm in January ,February or March but this year tried Tunisia for a change.
A group of 16 of us went to Beni for 4 days at the end of March. Benidorm takes some beating when it comes too value for money.
Can anyone tell me where I can get a boat trip for the day, breakfast, bbq chicken lunch and all inc of drinks, alcoholic as well,a few stops for swims in Benidorm for £10 each please,I get this in Marmaris Turkey,if I can get this in Benidorm I will go back tomorrow.
