number 10 bus will take you to altea or albir , both great places for a day out , the bus runs through the centre of benidorm , best way for alicante is the tram which you catch at benidorm railway station , great ride along the coast in air conditioned carriage
does benidorm have a train station?? we want to get about aswell in aug..

Only problem with catching the train to Alicante is, but maybe it was a one off was I had to change trains on both journeys there and back with a 3/4 hour wait each time.
Was that recently pipefitter ? I remember there was a change at Villajoyosa during the upgrade works, but I think that was a couple of years ago now.
you did used to have to change but now the tram runs directly into alicante city , great comfy ride , these trams are air conditioned , great views , cost 5.40 euros return , takes abot 40 minutes

Between the 21st and 24th the city of Alicante is a fantastic place to visit as it the San Juan fiesta.
All sorts going on day and night,I go for 4 days every year.
