Hi peeps. Looking at booking this hotel. It's cheap and cheerful and seems to have some reasonable reviews. Has anyone stayed here? How close is it to the old town? Is it far from the square (hope so). Is it easy to get there by bus/taxi? Does anyone know any decent eating places near to it?
Sorry, so many questions, but I have never been to Benidorm before. Thanks in advance xx

Don't know this hotel personally, but walked passed plenty of times.
It's just up the road from the hotel Los Dalmatas, which is situated in the Rincon de Loix area of Benidorm on Calle Estocolmo.
In other words, it's at the far end of Levante beach and as far away from the old town as you can get, but don't let that deter you, it's a nice walk on the promenade to the old town....we do it daily and if you like the countryside, it's immediately behind you.
When exactly are you planning on going.? there may be other offers that include half board for not much more that this 2*aparthotel is charging.
I've just had a quick look on the Medplaya site and the Rio Park is less than 30 euros per night.
Try looking at this...if you use the zoom in/out facility, it will give you a rough idea of the size of the resort and where the hotel you have in mind, is situated.

sanjiiiiiiiiiiiii
Thanks Sanji. Is there a bus to the old town? I don't fancy HB as I hear too many horror stories of bad food, and we like to go out.
Yes, there are buses that run up and down the Avda Mediterraneo (that's the dual carriageway that runs the length of the resort from the new town to the old town, or the edge of it..... the old town itself is a big place to explore
Thank you. x
i bet one of my pictures is of this hotel!!
walking down to the beach...look over to the far bay...and thats where the old town is....a walk....but if i can do it then you definately can.
theres loads to do in this area.
we didn't eat out...but again...theres so many places to chose from.
i took this from my friends balcony....the bermudas is the hotel....to the left...about 10 floors high...with the red windows in the middle of it not the BIG building at the front......(sorry i cant do pointy things on my pictures!!)
there were loads of little pubs and cafes along that road you can see.
Just got to wait til he gets paid to book it on Friday. Hopefully the deal will still be there.
I won on poker last night - €215, so that will be going towards the spending money.
wooo hooo...i've done it!!
well i would say go for it...fingers crossed..xx
I'd say go for it as well....shame you wont be there same time as Pepsi and me.....we could have shown you around......oooo another convert
I'm not converted yet!
Few of us thinking of booking this aparthotel for a week. Has anyone stayed and is it anywhere near the indoor market. WE stayed at the sol pelcanos last year and was looking for something in the same area but cheaper. Any help would be brill thanks.
As you leave the bermudas turn right then take the next right follow road down to bottom and the indoor market is on your left across the road, I went here in April/may this year, Just go self catering as people who we talked to said food wasent that good and not much to choose from, Pool is nice and big, Apartments are old fashioned but very clean, Your only one euro for a pint in the bar beside the reception, On that road down to the market all the bars on your right hand side are one euro a pint, And the best pint is in the London bar.
