When we have been to the theatre we have stayed at the imperial hotel in russell square. The hotel is clean and tidy. With good price underground parking, this is there web site http://www.imperialhotels.co.uk

Superbreaks sometimes have some good packages for theatre breaks.

I find when visiting London I end up in different hotels each time as there is so much price difference every time you check bookings.

also try lastminute.com do good theatre/hotel breaks

We always stay in the Travelodge at Convent Garden. It is perfect for the theatres and visiting Convent Garden. Immaculately clean and they now do buffet breakfasts which are better than the ones in some posh hotels I have stayed in. You can't beat the location and the money you save on the room prices you can use for a ticket to another show!! Lord of The Rings is fantastic, but Dirty dancing was a load of rubbish.
