Hi all,
Anyone got any recommendations of restaurants selling good Indian (North not Goan) food between Baga and Arpora.
I know of all the other restaurants along the Baga Arpora Rd but not stayed round that area for 2 years so wondering if anyone had ideas?
Thanks
All spice in Arpora is just about the best in the area.
All Spice is on my list of 'must tries'. What sort of price should should we expect to pay for an average meal for 2 (with a few drinks of course)!.
Spend a tenner and you will have had a feast and be a little tipsy
I have to say the All Spice is definately one of my faourites in Goa and the best in that area. I used to Goa and always have 'Rob's Special' which is spiced cheese filled chicken breasts done in the tandoor! - Fabulous!!!
I think I will try a "Rob's special". A rough translation seems to be tandoori chicken paneer, I bet the guys at my local take away would scratch their heads if I aked for that.
So as you are travelling away from the bridge, go towards Marina D then turn left to Arpora then where? How far is it from the junction at MD?
Cheers
We were staying in the Marinha Dourada, turned right, then right again - about a 10-15 minute walk.
If you're coming from Baga, just jump in a taxi or tuk tuk.
Must say, it was very good and the service was exellent.
Thanks... I'll give it a try. I'm a bit of a curry 'freak' so this might be a good find!
Neil you will love All Spice. Very friendly but busy (if that makes sense) If you go at peak times in the evening, about 8.30-9pm. you might need to sit at the bar area and have a drink til a table becomes available (but probably only for about 20 mins at the most). £10 will get both of you a starter and main meal and couple of drinks. Great value for money. Enjoy!
I always liked the Sheetal in Candolim as it only sold authentic N Indian food and that was it, no European food.
