A while back a BM posted about the beneficial effects of this prebiotic.Designed to produce helpful bacteria and aid the effects that travel and different foods can have on your digestive system.
Google it for a fuller and far more accurate description.
At the time I dismissed it as snake oil on more than one occasion but relented before our trip and promisesd to give it a try.
I will try not to be too graphic but for those of a sensitive disposition maybe you should not read on.
I have always had a odd digestive system and even staranger toilet habits.I would consider myself borderline IBS.I blame my poor diet and fondness for lager.
Whenever we go to Goa I always suffer at least a couple of days of Delhi belly and indeed the whole time we are away my bowel movements can be described as loose to say the least.(I did warn you).
Following the instructions my OH and I started taking Bimuno a week before we left and I can only report miraculous results.
Even before we left my digestive system settled down and my use of our toilet became far more regular.
While we were away it was the same story and not once did either of us suffer any Delhi belly.
I am of course aware that it is no guard against some of the nastier bugs out there but I am a 100% convert.
I apologise to the original poster for my ignorant pre-judgement.
I also hope I did not put anyone off their tea.

where can you buy Bimuno?
http://www.bimuno.com/ however the site appears to be down at present. It can also be bought from Boots on a 3 for 2 basis also. I've been using it running up to my trip but typically for me I've had a bit of Pre Dehli belly this week
Boots price is the same at 6.99 for a pack of 30 sachets so with the 3 for 2 you get 90 sachets for £14

EDIT:_ Web site back up now, lots of info on there

I have to be honest I was really skeptical but from now on we will not go away without it.
I am not saying it is a cure all but it has certainly made a difference to us.
Been back a week now and stopped taking it on our last day.I now see my digestive system returning to its old ways.Going to give it another week and start taking it again.
Let you know my findings.
