I had the same problem as the normal single bed size is 90cms. In the end I just bought UK single sheets and they do just fine. They are a bit bigger but it doesn't seem to cause problems.

They are a pain to iron though!

Why not try jersey fitted sheets - as they stretch to fit they will be fine on a slightly smaller bed - non iron too!!!

Jersey sheets is a good idea. I'll look into that. Had already found La Redoubte, but their narrower sheets are unfortunatley too short.

Hi - I bought some of those fitted cotton jersey sheets. Lovely and comfy and not too hot in the summer. I found them at Lidl and they seem to be offering them now and again so might be worthwhile looking out for their offers on the website http://www.lidl.co.uk/gb/home.nsf/pages/i.home

They were really cheap too (£3.99 or £4.99).
