I have never been to thailand before but my fiance's father who lives in thailand has booked the blue elephant in bangkok for our first night was wondering if anybody knew if this was nice and prices etc.

I googled it and it has its own cooking school and several other restaurants around the world looks lovely. It is near Sumkhvit Road?

I know its one of the top restaurants in Bangkok...seen it from the skytrain but never been. They do some of the recipes for the cook in sauces for the Blue Dragon Royal Thai range. If you get the chance try Royal Thai cuisine - its exquisite I've had it at other places.
