Hi Ann,we went on several boat trips with John at icmeleronline and had a fab time,he usually has them on Thursday and Sunday but it may be different this time.A must is to jump off the boat with John !!!!
I would definitely recommend the Surf and Turf boat trip which Icmeler Travel Centre do. It's a super day out and it's all inclusive so excellent value for money (usually around £16).
You're driven to the other side of the penninsula (about 45 mins) to the boat, so you get to see some lovely scenery and villages along the way. The boat has a top deck with sunbeds for everyone (25-ish people), you get unlimited drinks and a barbecue lunch with village bread and delicious salads. The boat stops at a ruined monastery, the "American's House" and makes a couple of swimming stops in the afternoon - the sea at these stops is fantastic - crystal clear! It's a really relaxing day out. Leaves Icmeler at 9am and gets back at about 6pm.
I've done the trip several times as it's just such fantastic value for money and even if you're a non-swimmer you'll still enjoy it (my dad's done the trip a few times and he hates the water!)
Icmeler Travel Centre is situated in the centre of the resort opposite the Black Sea Restaurant - pop in and see Carol. A word of warning though - book early as it's so popular.
Mazz
totally agree with mazz, did surf and turf last year for the first time having done all the others, enjoyed it so much wnet twice, a really relaxing day out as there are only 24 people on the boat and every has a sunbed plus not many boats go they way and the sea is lovely and peacefull. would also recommend the gokova (not sure of spelling) again a lovely trip lasting full day and quieter than most. havent been on a bad trip so im sure u ll enjoy whichever one you go on. have a great holiday.
hi all
i have been on some which goes around the bays and stops of at turunc you can have all inclusive which i beleive icemeleronline are doing for £15 a adult and children half price or their are others who book boat trips along beach front it all depends what you are after
Went on Captain Bullies last year deffo doing it again this year, and also will be booking an ICR boat trip as the option to push John off the top of the boat is tooooo tempting
just been on captin bullshits boat trip was so much fun had a fantastic day
can anyone recommend any boat trips that go from icmeler and were to book these trips
cheers dodge
Have a walk along the Beachfront you will see lots of these selling the trips along the Pavement, Also in the resort there are plenty of Places that sell them in shops.
I have since done Captain Bullshits trips and they are fantastic. Doing the ICR one this year so will report on that when I have been on it.
Colette are you and your Mam jumping off the back of the boat ?
Mums under orders she has to jump off the boat
Hi all I am going to Icmeler in October, can you buy these trips on the day or do you have to book then through your rep etc
I wouldn't book a boat trip through the rep as you'll pay double the price throught the tour company . There are plenty of boat trips you can book day before especially in marmaris . You can also book them with Icmeler Online or Icmeler Travel Centre
For trips from Icmeler direct there are quite few, they are about £10 per adult and you get lunch but not free drinks, they are also a good day out, there are loads of stalls on the beach front where you can book, look out for Cheeky Bugger
Have to agree the surf 'n' turf trip with Icmeler travel centre is a great day out. We did it a few weeks ago and it was great value, okay it's more expensive at £18 but you get what you pay for and you're not crammed in like sardines like some trips we've been on.
