Hi is the mega diana still operating,we had a trip with them about 3 years back and had a thouroughly great day out,we want to go on a lazy day again this year, and feel thats probably the best bet
We went to Marmaris 2 years ago, we went on the mega diana it was first class think we were £8, toasties for breakfast ice cold botled beer and soft drinks fot#r the kids and a great time all day going back this year and will book again
hiya.. i went last october, the mega dianna was a good day trip... but im sure we only paid about £5 per person, maybe it was bacause it was so late in the year... but what a fantasic day out!
Hiya, I went on the mega diana twice last year June and Sept and it cost us £12 both times. couple of years ago it cost us £10 but worth it both times. I am going to marmaris in 18 days and I will be going back on the mega diana again nice food lots of free drinks and a good laugh, fun day out. cannot comment on the other boat trips but they looked packed.
Going to Marmaris in August (not been now for 10 years) - does anybody know where in Marmaris you book for the Mega Diana boat trip?
Happy Holidays
Tx
we couldnt find an all inclusive boat trip. apparantly (and a few operators told us this) the local mayor/council has now stopped the all inclusive trips
Read some good reports about the Mega diana boat trip, where can i book this trip from thanks
Roger, we were on an all inclusive boat trip just two weeks ago. We spoke to about half a dozen local travel agents and they were all offering them.
Just got back and we had a brill trip on Monday from Marmaris, you cant get the little ones anymore cos of licences and no toilet facilites apparantely but we found a really nice boat with just the captain and me, my daughter, her hubby and 3 childrent it cost us £100 for the boat and food and drinks came to around £15. He only stopped when we wanted in 3 lovely bays and there was a big comfy bed on the top and one on the front with loads of room for sunbathing he let the kids and son in law fish from the rear. We had a lovely meal all fresh cooked and the table was set really nice, he gave us fruit and coffee later. All in all this was a great day just relaxing he is parked in harbour just past all the big boats this boat was called White Pearl but there are lots of others the same type they will knock the price down a little for you ours started at £120 and we got £20 off
Hiya, Does that mean all the small boat trips on the sea front wont be running anymore, I was looking forward to going back on the mega diana, I would be very grateful if any one knows if this boat is still doing trips.
Wonder what boats people have found to be the best for the lazy day cruises from Marmaris? Couple of years ago did Sunshine and Romeo and both were ok last year did one good one but can't remember the name then went on another one which was a smaller boat and a total nightmare. The drinks were all watered down the "captain" was only concerned with selling raffle tickets and making more and more money all the time. Not even sure if he was turkish - if so he was certainly not like any other turkish I've met quite nasty actually. Want to do a few trips this year like the AI lazy days and since it's a first for my partner and his son to Marmaris would like to make sure they really enjoy.
just got back into newcastle this morning at 9.10 from marmaris, went on the mega diane last sat, £13 quid for adults, half price under 14s. all inclusive breakfast, all the drinks you can handle. bottles of tuborg, soft drinks and dinner. pasta, chicken, salad, bread. i did not lift a finger, the boys bring it to you. 3 swim stops, captain and crew are a great laugh. picked up at the hotel and taken to the boat. all this from 10- 5. highly recommended.
hi rob , whare did you book this trip ? going in 2 weeks and this sounds ideal , cheers simon
hi simon, booked it up with a travel company called donatello travel in marmaris, their number in marmaris is 02524127678 and the address is hasan isik cad. no. 9/2 marmaris. if you know marmaris it is down from the george and dragon pub heading down to the beach opposite euro sky bar. they can only be booked up at donatello travel. they have 68 sunbeds on board, some on the upper deck and more on the lower deck. enjoy!!
Hi, I have just got back from marmaris this weekend and I went on the Mega Diana boat trip, it cost £13 and we booked it by just going down to the boat itself, the staff stay on the boat all night and they will take your booking there and then and also arrange hotel pick up for you at no extra cost. Just have a gentle stroll down to th harbour the boat has Mega Diana on the front and ask for Mustafa he will help you. hope you have a fun day we certainly dijavascript:emoticon(':sun')
we got back from marmaris this week, and did 2 boat trips, both on the Sunshine boat, excellent, plenty of sunbeds on top deck, went down to the harbour in the morning picked the boat we liked the look of,crew were very friendly, cost us £10 each all inc drinks, and a nice bbq lunch, will definetly go on this boat again.
mega diane definatly the best ,,bit more expensive ,but a bed for every one and no up and down stairs to get youre drinks, weve used a few but this is the best, same crew year after year (army permitting)
Does anyone know if the Amadeus is still sailing from marmaris? captain was called Ahmet, was really looking forward to his boat trip this year, but getting worried now?
