I could only find two titles by the author Juan Carlos Carracedo in this web siteJuan Carlos Carracedo none of which were the title you are looking for.
Amazon only had this one Canarian Volcanoes by Vicente Arana and Juan Carlos Carracedo

Thanks Allmen. I found that one on the volcano too and may buy it anyway. I am coming to Tenerife in September, so will take a look around then
