Hi Gemma. We found a nice little guest house down near the Goan Heritage but I don't want to say where as friends/family of ours are hoping to book there in March. There won't be any room at the Inn if I announce it on here I could no doubt do with a bit of company in November as I am travelling alone, only going for a week though so I can manage that. In March we come back on the 29th. Looks like you'll miss the party then Gemma?

We will be there in March too fizzy. Same flight as irishcolleen. We will be there in November too, but only for a couple of days before you go home, who knows we may be able to arrange a meet up somewhere.

I am not at all bothered about Molly Malone's, although I dont mind the pub, I dont want to be in it on St Patricks Night. Too busy, too dirty and too hot!!!

Sorry Irishcolleen but I dont like tables in a pub that are literally littered with dirty glasses, tables all wet cos of spilt drink and ashtrays overflowing with cigarette ends, its just now for me
Yes it was great to see everyone (that was the best bit). If it hadnt been so busy everyone could have sat together. I think thats why so many HTers didnt bother to come in, they saw how busy it looked from the street and didnt stop.

Gemma it is on 22nd March. Its all a bit of a triple whammy because mines 21st and our anniversary is 23rd - but ofcourse HWMBO birthday is the most important celebration next year.

Can't comment too much on Molly Malone's as never been in there, I know where it is as have walked past many times. Your gallery pics of it look nice Colleen so maybe we will venture in there one day. I know what Gemma means though but if it was filled to the gunnels with people on St. Paddy's night the poor staff probably couldn't get to the tables to clean them anyway . Maybe they keep on top of it on a normal night.

It would be great to have a meet up in November - I must remember to wear my HT wristband.

What do you mean?
I am not saying anything that wasnt true. And I did say it was great to see all the HTers, which it most definitely was! However, many more HTers said they would pop by that night, people we had never met before, and only a couple turned up. People later posted that they were put off cos it was so busy. All the HTers that we met were mostly the regulars and we had all met before.
I dont like sitting at a table stinking of cigarette ash and I am unable to put my elbow on the table because it will get wet from drink thats been dropped on the table. Its only my opinion, but thats how I feel.
