We have stayed at the Brilliant twice, and like davetraceyuk, found storage space tight even with only 3 of us in an apartment. Have you thought of booking 2 studios instead, as this would give you more storage, 2 bathrooms, and also more privacy?
There are lots of good value restaurants around, the Anatolia would be just a short walk up the road. Many more, especially in Pernera - Noufaro and Steak and Ale are great value. Both the Italians in Pernera, and the Cordon Blue are good, but more expensive.

thanks for the info!,when trying to book online you only get a choice of a apartment not a studio,so the price for 4 in an apartment is like 1450 but then add another room and it goes up to over 2100 thats with first choce,guess the best thing is to head into a travel agents? im not too worried about storage just is with 4 adults sleeping was wondering whats the bedding arranged like as in is it double and 2 camp beds etc lol thanks again for the info! booking it monday!

i'm sure you'll all have a great time theres a very handy mini market down the road (turn right as you come out of the main entrance). the guy who runs it is very friendly and welcoming. also when you cut down the path from the pool end to eden square look out for the giant rabbits that live in the bushes on the left (big as horses! )

Off to the Brilliant apartments for the first time in june, just want to know if anyone has stayed there before.

its very basic but very clean
the bar is great and the service was brilliant

hi mrs jones, i went to the brilliant apartments 3 years ago and found them fine. They are in a quiet position but only a few minutes from eden square and the main drag. As you come out of main entrance turn right and there is a friendly supermarket 200 metres down road which we found handy for those essentials. At night walk past pool, cross little road and theres a sneaky well lit path that takes you through eden square (very pleasant!) When you go down this path in day keep an eye out for the giant rabbits!!! The staff are very friendly, especially the bar manager and we found food to be really good too. i particularly liked the cypriot meals like stiffado,kleftico and moussaka My only slight negative was the pool was not child friendly, it went from 3ft to 8ft in about 2 paces, like falling off a cliff but all in all you will i'm sure have a great time

Thanks very much for that, our Daughter will love watching for the Rabbits, Our little girl is only 4 so when she is in the water she will have her life jacket on anyway. I really carnt wait its 11 weeks tomorrow and im counting

Staying at the Brilliant in Protaras in September with a sea view, has anyone got any recommendations as to which room I might ask for? One that may have a good view or something else that makes it a bit better than the rest

We sayed Oct 2008 and they were fine, It was myself and my son in a one bed and we had no complaints x

Ive just noticed on the thomsons website that the Brilliant Apartments are to be upgraded for summer 2011, does anyone know if every apartment is going to be done and will they be ready for start of season in May... .. Many thanks in advance

Hi, we just returned from the Brilliant Apartments 2 weeks ago, all of the rooms will be renovated by start of next season. We went to see the room which has already been done and it is really nice, i would def go back to these apartments, the pool was gorgeous and they are in a very good location
