It's a bit like saying you want somewhere to live in London - there's so much choice, and so many places that you need to narrow your choices down a bit, so that people can maybe come up with some options.

Holiday resort or Inland
Flat/Appartment or House
Busy resort or quiet
Will the children need school / nursery
Price range

Palma is a busy and bustling city, and strangely the cost of renting is not as high as you'd expect, but with young children you might not want to live in a high rise City.

There are some beautiful places inland which are very cheap, but they're cheap because they're isolated, and unless you have a car (or maybe even 2) you might not enjoy the solitude.

I think you need to focus on one area, and then hone in on that, and maybe I can give you a little more information once you've decided where (roughly) you'd like to be.
