I wonder if anyone can help.
We have booked a car for June with Economy Car Hire and the rental company appears to be Budget Rental
Our return flight is the early Sunday morning Air Malta flight to Manchester.
Can anyone confirm that the Budget airport desk is open 24/7 or what time does it open on a Sunday morning or is there a drop box for the car keys

I use this company regular. You will find Budgets desk opposite and a short walk to the right as you exit with your luggage. The desk is manned 24/7 during the summer months and even during the winter they will man the desk on your arrival. They make a charge for doing this! They in common with other car hire companies also charge for a 1/2 or full tank of fuel at a higher rate then it actually cost at the pumps. Make sure you return the car empty!
