I was in Tenerife just after Christmas and over New Year and stayed in Colon II apartments, just a few yards from the boundary of the site and even though our apartment looked over the site we heard hardly any noise. There was definitely work going on when we were there and apart from the "peeping" of the dumpers and diggers occasionally it didn't cause us any disturbance. If you're going to be staying at Las Palmeras then I'm sure you won't hear anything as it's much further away.

By the size of the site and the speed that the Spanish seem to do things, I think it will be several months before the building work is finished!

yes the work is continuing but by the look of it most of the really noisy and dusty work is done now
