Flying with Bulgaria Air from Gatwick tomorrow (scheduled flight, not charter) - they use Boeing aircraft.

Have flown twice with BH Air (Balkan Holidays charter airline) they use Airbus A320s & Tupolev 154s, both flights were fine.

Hi, went to Bulgaria a couple of years ago for a special holiday for myself and my daughter(took her skiing). The plane was fine, we were at the back, so it was a bit noisy. It took off on time, the airline staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was yum and i'm fussy, and the drinks are great. They don't bother measuring your spirits!!! I was tiddly by the time we got there. Had to have a really strong cup of coffee to try and clear my head. The airport isn't anything special. But got through customs quickly. Lovely country, really cheap, great hotel. Superb holiday. Hope you have a good one too!!!

Bulgarian Air Charter are fairly regular visitors to the UK during the summer season. They are now in the process of replacing the Russian built Tupolev TU-154 aircraft to a fleet of 7 MD-80 aircraft bought from european operators.

Does anyone know how much an internal flight costs from Sofia to Varna, as WizzAir do a flight to Sofia for £3.99 each way with a stop at Budapest.
With taxes added on it works out at around £60 per person return, I know it sounds too good to be true.
