just got my map through today for when i go to majorca in september, map is brill highlighting tourist places etc.
however, i am saddened and feel sick to see that in palma every sunday they are having bullfighting.
i thought this was banned?.
its sad sick and totally inhumane thats just my personal opinion.
was shocked to see this in the brochure

I think if they want to try and kill a bull they should have to do it without the sword!!! and also without the safety of others!!!

The Palma bullring is one of the finest looking old buildings in the city, that's the only nice thing you can say about it. However, when in Rome... (or in this case Spain).

ok first i am not an animal activist
second i am not political
third i have read alot of stuff on here non complainant etc.
fourth, i expressed my feelings about something i had seen in majorca as we are after all on the majorca discussion boards.
fifth; i have broken no terms of this board or subsequently anything else.
sixth, "Computor says noooooooooooooooo"
oh and i do not see many complaints on these boards from your postings babe!

if i have done or said anything wrong then i am sure the moderators will endeavour to correct me or cancel me, who really gives a monkeys, i saw something which worried/concerned me about majorca, aired it on this majorca board.

I agree with Mike. If you dont like bullfighting or anything else for that matter, dont go to see it. Also even if you dislike what is happening you must still respect the customs of the country you are visiting. We could all pick various activities in most countries we visit with which we disagree. And activities not just related to animals!

when i found this board i thought brilliant, as it was all about different things to do with majorca.
As i have never been before it was very interesting for me reading all about the place, the praises and the complaints etc.
From one inocent posting i have obviously upset certain people to which i am sorry as this was not my intention.
I have copied and saved everything what has been said and i will endeavour to send it to the relevant people.
I will no longer participate on this board and will find somewhere else less intimidating and nasty.

Believe me, this forum is a kindergarten in comparison with lots of others.
There are always opinionated people with inbuilt prejudices ready to voice them...that's why we participate here :-)))
