I have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Xemxija. It was at the top end of the island and I did not (in the end) have the nerve to hire a car. Just crossing the road was nerve racking enough....

However, after many, many bus rides up and down the island, I now consider myself mastermind in Malta bus service and numbers. So if anyone wants any advice, please feel free to ask.

PS especially about the bogus numbers they throw in just to confuse you!
