CAA warns passengers about Reliable Holidays
The Civil Aviation Authority has warned Wembley-based long-haul flight specialist Shenoy & Co, trading as Reliable Holidays, is unable to meet its obligations to customers.
The six-year-old family run business company, which has also been trading as Economy Travel, held its own ATOL licence but was also selling flights as an agent of other licence-holders.
The CAA issued a statement saying it believed Shenoy cannot or will not be able to meet its obligations.
Customers have been told to check with their airlines to see if their tickets have been issued. If so, the flights should be valid.
Customers without tickets may be able to claim refunds from the CAA, but it said today it did not know how many passengers had been affected.
Economy Travel was not answering any calls today.
