Thanks for your support!. Granted, there are some crew who let the side down (as in any profession) but mostly we always try our best. We have our off days, me included, but doesn't everyone? Often things happen at home, ie family illness, bereavement etc, and sometimes it is very difficult not to take that to work with you.
I have flown for 12 years and wouldn't cange my job for the world. Even though the altitude, radiation, jet lag and long hours do take their toll. Thats where a good moisturizer and healthy eating step in!!!
I started this thread as I find it fascinating to observe peoples behaviour and am very grateful to all the airline crew who in the past and hopefully future I will encounter.
Believe me, there is no other better job for watching all sorts of different passenger behaviour!!!
I have flown with first choice, thomson and thomas cook. I now always go with thomas cook as i like the company however i find the planes a mess they need a good clean and a few repairs i have found most of the crews very nice.
tracy
our best experience was with the late lamented Helios brilliant staff, also found Eurocypria good [but that was a few years ago, worse we had has been onuair and the late [but not lamented] Excell the rest of the charter mob we find very similar with probably Monarch having the edge, but like life we all have diffident experiences so have a diffident slant on the answer
