hello i took my grandaughter to this hotel last sept. the hotel was lovely. allthough i didn.t see a kids club.she was 2 and half then. your best bet is to go to hotel calypso in salou .loads of entertainment for kids there as its a thompsons super family hotel. we ended up taking ataxi every night to there as cala fonte was geared to adults. and its in cap salou.so fairly quite. allthough there was a nice fair not far from cala font just down the hill just right a 2 year old. hope this helps.

There is defo a kid's club and does mention Kid's Playground (don't see that in the Calypso).

I had read about the funfair and this could be another plus point.

It was really just some info on the Play Area it mentions.

There is a kids club there at the hotel but my two children only went the once, please don't think it's going to be like a McDonalds or Wacky Warehouse play area with ball pits, bouncy castle, climbing frames as it is very basic. When my two went they were making a mask or painting but they preferred the pool so as I say in a two week holiday they only went the once.

As for the play area there is a small fenced off play between the two pools, this consists of a slide, climbing frame and two or three rocking horses.

The 'funfair' consists of a few pool tables, trampolines, bungee jump, go kart things on water and arcadey type machines e.g grab a teddy. These are literally round the corner from the hotel near the shops.

Try looking at Thomsons website, I found a video of the hotel on there last year.

I went to the Cala Font last summer for two weeks and will say it has one of the best locations in Cap Salou, litlle train stops outside the hotel to take you into Salou or to PortaVentura, just follow the path and in 10-15 minutes you will be in the main town if you prefer to walk.

Does anyone know is it walking distance from this hotel in cap salou to the main beach in salou? I s ther a lot to do with children in cap salou?

i dont know if you have already booked but my friends and 2 kids went here to that hotel last year she said it was full of germans and the food was terrible the kids hated it at the same time we were in salou at golden avenida hotel and that was top class and very cheap food there was fantastic and not far from the beach
