normal hols stuff.plus a thin jumper for the cool nights.
Doubt that they'll be any cool nights, I have been in shorts or jeans, tee-shirt and sandals since the beginning of June. I'm not expecting to see a jumper until September.
hi casperslide and pjwoody Thanks for your reply,i will be wearing a pair of light jeans on the plane so a thin long sleeve t shirt just in case,Realy looking forward to the hols now 3 weeks or 15 working days to go,Cheers Brian
It's always a sign that you are on holiday when you step out of an air conditioned aircraft, stand at the top of the steps and get hit by either the blazing sun during the day or amazing warm night air ( my favourite)
Then everyone is struggling to carry their hand luggage plus all the clothes they were wearing when they left the UK
back to wearing a thin jumper ect.in may early june i know its hot in day but 1sy few days you will feel the chill at night.i hate stan the mans.also you will catch a cold very soon.with not getting used to heat and chilly nights.
Just got home from work, it's two thirty in the morning and it's so warm that I'm sweating like a pig. Popping into the pool now..... sorry if you're reading this from cold, grey Britain.
what's there to be jealous of getting home from work at 2.30 in the morning??
Casperslides, I would rather get home from work at 2 am in the warmth than go to work at 7am in not so sunny Cornwall, I take it that you must be out there working for the season,If so were do you work

If you'd read the post then you would realise that I was illustrating how warm it is in the evenings here....duh!

Exactly, I used to get up at six every morning and get home at nine each evening, I live here all year round now and my hours are eight in the evening until two in the morning. The money isn't as good as the UK but there's no pressure anymore and no commute.
So casperslides. Where are you? Or is it a secret?
It's a secret! But not a well kept one.
barman.
CASPERSLIDES If you a barman what is the pub that you work called, we might pop in for a pint or two
I'm so jealous you are going to Cala Llonga.I was there and loved it.Very peaceful and the bay is georgous, soft sand and shallow water.
We are going to Turkey this year to give it a go.
Have a great hol.

Never been to ibiza before, but really enjoyed it.
Cala llonga beach is indeed lovely, plenty of room, not to over crowded.
Where are you staying?luv,Maz,xxx
MAZ Glad to here that you had a nice time,This will be our first time to Ibiza and looking forward to it,GOOD news about the weather and the beach,We are going on the 6 July for 1 wk and staying in the Sirenis Playa Dorada , Is there a nice bar for the evenings with a bit of entertainment (not to noisy) Thanks for the reply Brian
We stayed at the el pinar which is at the opposite side of the beach where you are staying, they also had different entertainment most evenings, and made everyone welcome even if you wern't staying there, and there food was good value for money, with tables looking over the bay.
Another great but quiet bar if you don't mind a little walk is called bar Athena, its only open at night and is well worth having a look at,it's a very weird place, its on the road past the chinese, just keep on walking and you will find it,it's all lit up at night!!
Hope this has been of some help to you,if you would like to know anything else i would be more than happy to help, hope you have a great holiday, luv,Maz,xxx
