Does anyone have any first hand info on this resort? I can see from maps its close to Sa Coma but no brochure seems to have hotels there.... we are thinking of going on a private let in September, friends of the family who own an apartment there. Does anyone have any info on it, how busy, expensive, nice beach etc?
Many Thanks
I found it the nicest resort so far in Majorca and Ive been to Can Pastilla/Alcudia/Can Picafort/Palma Nova/Cala'Dor etc.......
Its an extremely "cosmopolitian" resort, being about 60% German/Dutch and 40% other including British. Lovely restaurants of all Nationalities, lots of Tapas Bars etc.
If the "British" bars are your thing then there are a few of those also........
Lovely beach - lovely prominade to walk along at night, which leads right into the neighbouring resorts.
Wouldnt hesitate to go back there..............absolutely georgous resort!

Cala Millor is lovely, a mix or nationalities with nice shops, hotels, restaurants and bars as well as a fab beach. Local buses to nearby resorts and Palma and boat trips. I first went 35 years ago and return every year staying in one of the east coast resorts, Cala Bona/Millor/Sa Coma or S'Illott nowhere better to spend your hols!!! CBG
I first went with my parents 30+ years ago and we've been going as a family with our own kids for the last 10 years and we love it, wouldn't consider going anywhere else! I think there's something to suit everyone there - it's not a lager lout resort and I've always felt completely safe.
If you want to PM me I can send you info on a couple of infortmative websites that cover both resorts.

Thomas Cook also go to both resorts - interestingly they now have the Hotel Atolon on their books which was, for as long as I've known, always a Thomson property! They've also taken over the Christina Apts. They do the Bahia Del Este & Playa del Moro hotels too in the resort.
Hope that helps! Tis
