I live & work in Riviera Del Sol, next door to Miraflores.. what info are you looking for ?

how much is a transfer likely to be for 9 us I have been quoted £235 is this reasonable, also is the miraflores on a bus route or do we need to hire a car.

As there are 5 kids is there plenty of things to occupy them with also eating out is there a plenty of bars and restaurants.

Any other info you think we may need would be great

try skybusspain for the transfer. They quoted me 113 euros each way for up to 12 people from the airport to Mijas, Miraflores is probably more than that but not that much. 235 quid sounds very high.
There are bus stops near Miraflores, bus will take you right along the coast. Good service and very cheap.

235 pounds is outrageous!

Even if you got 3 taxis @ say 50 Euros each (not sure exactly how much taxi is to Miraflores I would guess Eur 40) that would only be 150 Euros in total - approx 105 pounds

What resort are you staying in at Miraflores, dependant on that it's not too much of a walk down to the N340 coast road to catch the bus. As sunnysenorita says I would suggest 3 taxis from the airport rather than the £235 quoted, a taxi is around €40-€50 to Riviera/Miraflores from the airport.

I would suggest a hire car would be a good idea as you'll get to see so much more of the area this way

Miraflores is quite a quiet resort, people come to play golf and chill out it seems, saying that there are loads of places to eat and drink on the various strips scattered around. You might be wise to book up a few trips to the waterparks/zoos etc if your kids get bored easily !

we paid 50euros ( well we never paid it ,thats another story)from Benal to mira Flores ,last year.
