Husband and I are off to the Cambrils playa for 5 nights at the end of May. We had originally booked the time off work to go away in his minibus/campervan conversion but it is not completed yet so i suggested we could go abroad for same sort of money, and he said yes . So i have booked flights with ryanair, hand luggage only and all inclusive at the cambrils playa.
I have looked at the reviews on HT as well as googling 'cambrils playa' the reviews are very mixed and generally very old. Has anybody stayed here recently (in last year?). I would also like to know what is there around the hotel, bars, restaurants, anything?
We are going there with the aim to try and turn every negative into a positive and try to have a fab, credit crunching, sunny, short break
I am already looking at my hand luggage and thinking, what on earth can I pack for 5 nights in there, am going to have to be very creative with my night into day clothes and have had fun? working out what toiletries we can take, I am going to share shower gel with my Husband! Am so looking forward to the break, it would be nice to know a bit about the area near hotel as we don't plan to venture far. We have done portaventura with the children so wont be doing that this time.
