Going to Sa Coma next week and was wondering if anyone can tell if it's ok to take my DSLR and 100-400mm lens in my hand luggage ?
No problem, I do it regularly. You may be asked to remove the equipment from hand-luggage and put it into a basket during the security scan. You then return it to your hand-luggage.
hand luggage no problem, would not put anything of any value in my hold luggage
might be best to have it in a padded box as well.
