Can anyone recommend a decent 4/5 star hotel

Hi

This will be the first time we have travelled to Salou as a small family and I would like some recommendations on 4 - 5 star hotels which actually you feel warrant their rating. We fancy a bit of luxury this time and fed up of shabby Spanish hotels.

I'm not fussed whether BB or HB, don't mind a stroll to the town, but would like one that doesn't have really loud outside entertainment as I have a little one and had a horrible experience in a hotel last September in Ibiza.

Hope I'm not being too fussy and that you excellent Holiday Truthers can help me out

We went to Salou after skiing in Andorra last March/April, I would recommend the hotel Villa Romana, 4* food excellent, even champagne for brekky, 10 min walk to Port Adventura, only across road from resort hotel. Book with Alpharooms, cheap flights to Reus, 1/2 hr away. Had a great week, hotel cost £800 FULL BOARD for 3 rooms and 6 ad 3 kids. Excellent! Look out for theme park vouchers at airport/car hire/McDonalds/Burger King. For a good beach go to Playa Capellans nr Cap Salou.

The Hotel El Paso might fit the bill. It's a family friendly 4* the food is quite good and you get a dine around facility with the other two hotels that are part of Port Aventura. The cost also includes unlimited entry to the theme park if you were thinking of visiting there.

Villa Romana By a Long way. It you then Want an Excellent 3 Star. Choose Any of the H10 Hotels Like Salaurus Palace which is an fact a 4 star or The others like Europa Park.

the h10 med village is 4 star and is very nice
