Hi liz . We stayed here a few years ago . found it by the tourist board. in a lovely area close to cheddar. http://www.butcombe-farm.demon.co.uk/accomodation.htm they do b+B or self catering cottages. Not luxurious but nice and friendly and pets welcome at a £20 surcharge . A big bonus of a lovely outside heated pool.

Hi liz . Yes very clean and comfortable and all mod cons i,e the essential dishwasher, microwave, etc just not as luxurious as some we have stayed in but a lot cheaper . We had a lovely stay there.
and from what I remember 20-30 mins to cheddar . I believe the local town was called Blagdon so you may be able to do a double check on the distance to cheddar on the AA/RAC route planner .
